The situation
Lists of free data services go stale. Half the entries are dead by the time you find them, and there is no way to test one without writing code first.
What I built
I built a curated directory of more than sixty services, each testable directly in the page. A keyboard shortcut opens instant search, and filters narrow by category, cost and whether a key is required. An automated check runs every day and flags anything that has gone offline, so the list stays honest.
