Valley O'Ville Operations Assistant
A booking assistant the staff talk to in Telegram, in ordinary English or Taglish, that files the paperwork for them.
- Built for
- Valley O'Ville Family Resort — front desk and operations staff
- My role
- Automation Engineer & Systems Analyst
- When
- February 2026 – Present
The situation
Every booking meant touching three different Google tools by hand — a row in a spreadsheet, an entry in the calendar, a folder in Drive. It was slow, easy to forget a step, and impossible to do properly while a guest was standing at the desk.
What I built
Staff now message the resort's Telegram bot the way they would message a colleague — "book the Alcantara family, 2 nights from Friday". The assistant works out what is being asked, files the record, creates the calendar entry, and opens the guest folder. It handles new bookings, cancellations, changes and questions, and asks for the missing piece instead of guessing when a message is incomplete.
Ongoing since February 2026, built and maintained alongside my role running the resort — so it was designed against the real workflow, not a guess at one.
What it lets people do
- Make a booking by typing a normal sentence, in English or Taglish
- Cancel or change an existing booking the same way
- Ask about upcoming bookings without opening a spreadsheet
- Get prompted for anything missing, rather than a silent half-saved record
Under the hood
The tools this is built with. You do not need to know any of them to use it — open one if you are curious what it does.
